Here's What We Can Do For You

We will test your soil for amount of:
pH
nitrogen
potassium
phosphorus
humus
texture structure percent of :
sand silt and clay
pH  The pH scale is a numerical system used to measure the acidity of alkalinity of a soil. Plants will not thrive on soil that is either too acid or too alkaline because the soil pH directly affects the availability of mineral nutrients, which plants need for optimum growth
Nitrogen is depleted through harvesting of crops, leaching by rain water, and return of nitrogen to the atmosphere by volatilization or natural evaporation
Potassium is
well-described as a “tonic” for plants, potassium strengthens natural mechanisms for the resistance to disease and extremes of weather.
Phosphorus Only a small percentage of soil phosphorus is in an available form and these phosphates move more slowly through the soil than other nutrients.
Humus  Humus is the life of your soil. Without it, soil is inactive and unable to produce plants, grass or flowers. Humus is the loose, crumbly material that results from the decay of organic matter -- leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, peat moss, kitchen scraps, or any such material.
Texture  The percentage of sand to silt to clay is important to know.
A sandy soil will drain too fast and retain nutrients and a clay soil will not allow necessary  amount of water, nutrients and oxygen to reach the roots

New Additional Service
In addition to providing an in-depth account of your soil sample, we are now offering Tissue Testing This means we can extract information about your plants from a sample of the leaf or stem. The analysis of the leaves and living tissues of plants for the purpose of determining the presence or absence of necessary‑ plant nutrients. Often the soil tray contain an adequate supply of plant nutrients, but the plant itself is unable to utilize it. This may be due to plant disease, dry soil or more often, absence of a trace element in the soil. A Tissue Test will tell us what trace element may be lacking for optimum growth.
